Registration in the CBE + VAT for Foreign Companies

Any foreign company operating in Belgium must register with the Crossroads Bank. This is mandatory.

In terms of VAT, when a foreign company has to identify itself for Belgian VAT, it has the choice between “direct registration” or “registration through a responsible representative”. Companies located outside the EU are obliged to appoint a responsible Belgian representative
